The Alexandra Arms, Eastbourne

Having just visited this pub over the weekend I could not believe the transformation. The refurbishment has improved the entire pub, and garden. It has really bought the pub into the 21st century, really quite chilled.
The staff were really friendly, my girls wanted a pasta dish off the main menu and the girl behind the bar organised for the portion to be shared between two plates. I think that it is this kind of great service which will make me return. We also had puds, and they made a great fuss of the children. The girls also loved the huge bouncy castle in the garden. The food was great, good portions and very good value. Try the steaks, very reasonable and very good.
