Three Horseshoes, Henley-on-Thames

I use this pub regularly at lunchtime and really like it. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very cosy, despite the size.

The Pandora Inn, Restronguet

A beautiful pub with an exquisite location. Sitting on the pontoon with a few pints is a lovely way to spend a few hours on a sunny September day. It's definitely on our list of places to go when we holiday down in Cornwall.

The Halfway House, Rame

An absolutely brilliant find on the first night of a holiday in September 2004. Popped in at the suggestion of the owners of the Retanna Holiday Park down the road and went back virtually every night for food. Fantastic steaks and attractive waitresses! Went back down in February 2005 and took a group of friends in for a meal...yet again the food was beautiful. Go and check out their dining 'Challenges'! Eat the whole thing and get a certificate and your photo on the ceiling. Roll on September!
