The Help Me Through Inn, Bury

I have only been going in the 'Help' as it's know locally, for the past 18 months having lived in Bury for over 20 years and it's the friendliest place in Bury. Chris, the licensee, works extremely hard in there and its one of the few places that anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can walk in there as a stranger and walk out as though you have been going in for ages! He runs several darts/dominoes/crib teams as well as various functions even though his pub is only small. Do not be put off by that as his buffets are second to none and all the away darts teams always comment on the amount of food he puts on (pies, Bury black pudding, chicken legs, sandwiches etc)....and I should know !! I don't eat any tea before I go down there playing darts/crib/doms.
must also mention the work Chris does for Bury Hospice and the charity functions he puts on for them as well as regular trips to Ripon Races and Belle Vue dogs.
If you want the best kept beer and lager in the Bury area, get your asses down there !
