Ye Olde Mitre Inne, Barnet

I've visited this pub with my boyfriend on several occasions and have been appalled by the foul and abusive language by several 'gentlemen' who frequent the window seats in the little top bar, and this despite several signs stating 'PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SWEARING - THIS IS A FAMILY PUB'. On one Saturday afternoon recently, there was an instance of a guy flashing his member in full view of the other customers in the pub. And this was at 1pm, so drink wasn't to blame.

While the pub may cater for the beer drinker, their house wine isn't up to much. The Sauvignon blanc is just about drinkable, but it's cheap 'pub' wine sold at a premium.

The staff all seem friendly and competent, but the Scottish manager isn't the most pleasant individual. Also - beware of the dogs. They are evil.
