The Prospect of Whitby, Wapping

After a short but cold walk from the DLR station we were pleasantly suprised by the welcoming lights as we rounded the corner. Inside we had been warned to expect a slightly tacky interior, however it was far better than we expected and definately superior to many an 'Olde English cum fake Irish pub'. Service was fast and atmosphere relaxed and evn though it was a cold Tuesday Evening in March, the pub was gently busy. Fish and Chips were better than average and looking around, the roast looked excellement. Music was 80's cheese and needs improvement, and gas effect effect log fires would have been far better if real. Definatley worth a second visit.
