Jolly Fisherman, Stanstead St Margarets

I visited the Jolly Fisherman, as part of a group of 9 people including 3 children. Despite there being several empty tables, we were told that we could not sit in the pub unless we were eating. We were given the option of sitting outside in the rain.

The owners of this establishment, would like to think of it a restaurant. so not the best place to pop in for a drink. This is a great shame beacause of it's location next to the River Lea Footpath.
