The Victoria, Bermondsey

Gorgeous Victorian pub on the outside, cozy and friendly on the inside. Good pub food, good steaks. Definitely a locals pub in the good sense (in that it has a community feel, rather than being a place where you'll get the Slaughtered Lamb experience walking in). It's hidden on a tiny back street where you'd never go looking for it, but it's worth seeking out. Whenever I take people there they think I don't know where I'm going and then suddenly we're there and then it's closing time and I can't drag them out. I loved it so much I moved to Bermondsey just so it could be my local.
