Thinking of having a party at The hand & Flowerthink again!!!!
This pub is trying to promote itself as a family pub but it is anything but. It is a cold hearted business that has no issue with pulling the rug out from under your feet at the 11th hour if it means more profit for them! After having a Christening Party booked there for nearly two months, with only 1 weeks notice they told me that their Sunday Lunch trade has now picked up since the original booking and is more profitable than a Christening Party so they would no longer accommodate us!!
So with 1 week to go, they completely left us in the lurch to find another venue to hold a party for 65 people. Oh and by the way, we tried one of these Sunday Lunches that we have been swept aside for a few weeks ago and found the service to be incredibly slow especially considering it really wasnt that busy and the portion size more suitable to the likes of Twiggy than us. We have been really upset and bitterly disappointed in the shoddy and cold hearted way that we have been treated by this pub and will not be going there again.

The Cardinal, Kingston Upon Thames
The Cardinal came to our rescue and saved our sons Christening Party after The Hand & Flower pub in Ham decided with only 1 weeks notice that their Sunday lunches would be more profitable than holding a Christening Party and left us completely in the lurch to find another venue for nearly 70 people!!
The owners of The Cardinal could not have bent over more to try and help us out. Even though they were fully booked themselves they moved all their furniture around to host a fabulous party for 50 adults, 17 children and 8 babies!! They cordoned off and decorated a private area and supplied a fabulous hot & cold food buffet. A great time was had by all and I cant thank them enough!!
Great pub, really friendly staff and fabulous food!
