After a previous visit in Jan 2009 where we found the beer to be good and the food exceptional we visited again last week. The beer is still good, Arkells on draught, the Moonlight was very good. However, the menu has changed and food is dismal. We tried a couple of starters; small portions of poorly prepared and presented food at a high price. Main menu seems to be burger & chips or jacket and fillings. Plus a surcharge on all plastic including debit.

The Beaulieu Road Inn, Beaulieu
Visited on a walk with a group from Ashurst in early April. Good range of draught beers, had the Ringwood if I recall correctly. Food looked to be a good selection but most of us settled for a baguette. Mostly were very good but I went for cheese with sweet pickle - not recommended! It was finely grated plastic cheddar with a dollop of Branston. Avoid this one but the rest looked good.
