The Cottage Freehouse, Norwich

What a find! Recommended to me by a senior citizen, my wife and I paid this charming venue a mid-afternoon visit on Friday and, although very quiet, received a warm welcome from Clive and Sally, and a massive black Alsatian (dog!).
There was a good selection of real ales on offer but preferring a glass (or bottle!) of wine I mentioned this to Clive who produced an excellent few examples of their cellar.
The various events lined up look like making this well worth another visit even if it's quite a detour from Mulbarton. Good luck to a lovely couple in a hostelry I'd certainly recommend.
