The Drayton Court, West Ealing

This is a large, well run Fullers place. The landlord, Dave, is a decent sort, the staff are young and quite helpful and all the beer is kept in good nick. My one complaint (and it's to Fullers) is get the toiltets sorted, the stale smell has been there ever since the refurb two or three years ago. Between the two bars, the hotel and the always-used basement this has got to be their flagship pub, yet the problem hasn't been addressed. However, it is worth a visit and, I'm told, the food's decent as well

Tuk Cho, Ealing

Tuk Cho is not a pub it's an oriental resturant specialising in 'street food'. It should be removed from the list.

The Red Lion, Leytonstone

Went here about a month ago (October 2013) prior to going to a party. We'd been before and like the place. A good selection of beers and a lively, convivial atmosphere both times with plenty of staff behind the jump so there's no hanging about. One minor caveat, however, are the prices. I asked for an a pint of Erdinger. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap but - sharp intake of breath - £7.00. Bloody hell. To be fair, the girl did let me know before she started pouring so I had a pint of Wit instead.
That said, if I lived closer I'd still use the Red Lion - side-stepping the Erdinger, of course.
