The Ranelagh, Bounds Green

Potentially great pub. Really good decor and feel, quality beers, nice garden - a cool local bar - slightly out of the way - which prevents it getting uncomfortably packed. The formerly good food is on the slide however - very thrown together and inconsistent. Service is patchy - long waits for drinks, not enough bods, general lack of interest shown. Still better than the few local alternatives - but someone needs to stop the rot. I still find I like it - and hope it picks up.
