The Springhead, Sutton Poyntz

This pub/restaurant is a victorian building, set in a stunning location - small village next to pond with great views. Worth a visit just for that. Good real ales and wines and excellent food - lots of local stuff. Local beef, pork, lamb, venison, fish, etc. We really enjoyed our meal which was lamb rump for me and sirloin steak for my partner, both were first class. Nice and friendly. Highly recommended.
