The Lord Hotham, West Molesey

The Hotham has been holding karaoke evenings recently which have been a huge success. The pub has been packed out each time, and it has brought loads of new faces in too, plus a great atmposphere. These nights consist of a total mixture of people, from those that can sing bloody well, to those that are tone deaf but get up and have a go anyway, to those that are just there to sing along from their bar stools and enjoy the music. Whatever your musical ability, next time you see a karaoke night advertised on the big board outside the pub then pop in and have a drink. Regardless of your previous views of the pub, or what you might have heard - give it a go as I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

The Lord Hotham, West Molesey

Fab pub full of friendly characters. To say the place had a "clique" isn't really accurate - everyone does know each other, but newcomers are by no means outsiders, and new faces are welcomed and valued. I have always felt totally safe in the pub, as trouble/violence is not tolerated in any form, and although some real "characters" frequent the pub, everyone, from my experience, is perfectly friendly and harmless, and all there for the same reasons - to have a few drinks and enjoy themselves! Pub is always spotlessly clean too, which makes a nice change from a lot of pubs where your shoes stick to the floor and your ashtray overflows! It gets my vote!
