Inside 72, East Dulwich

It's small. It looks like the inside of a tea chest and is similarly sized. The babbling horseshoe of bar stuff and camp followers, dressed at the last count, as Hanoi Rocks during rag week, can be off putting. As can the hideous paintings, the scrawl in the window advertising the house wine as Jack Daniels (rockm/!)and the always surprising toilets(Featuring some of the most inept graffiti I have ever witnessed)However it is still BY FAR the best bar in East Dulwich. It has a selection of beers to suit all tastes, if not all pockets, consistently brilliant music (it is the only place you will ever, EVER hear anyone play Mr Gravedigger by David Bowie and not for no reason, neither)and to press a point it has the FINEST looking bar staff in London. I mean it's not unlike an am-dram production of Cats in there some nights but I've always had a weakness for the lively arts! Oh and the pub quizzes were always well easy.
