The Boathouse, Falmouth

Cracking pub, for quite a few reasons. At the basic level, the drinks are good, whether it's local real ales or a properly poured Guinness and they usually have a couple of good quality lagers, too. Very decent selection of malt whiskies, to top it off. The staff are welcoming and enjoy a bit of banter, while the clientele is a relaxed mix of old 'uns, young 'uns, families and most things in between. The menu features plenty of fresh, local seafood and the views from the big balcony are, as many others have pointed out, simply killer. I repeat - cracking pub.
