The North Pole, Greenwich

I've been here a couple of times before on a Sunday night and had a good time. Went along for the first time in a while with my boyfriend on Sunday - and didn't have such a good time. Main disappointment is that outside they advertise jazz - and the band ain't jazz - just cheesy pop cover versions!The bouncers are unwelcoming, and the young lady behind the bar made it perfectly clear that she was more intent on talking on her mobile phone than serving me at an empty bar. A feeling of rudeness permeates from the staff - and the decor really is like stepping back into the 1990s. Don't go for the live music - unless you're plastered before you get there!
