The Lamb and Flag, Covent Garden

The Lamb and Flag is always on my visiting list when I go to London, usually accompanying either one of my daughters on a shopping trip, I have always found it - I have been using it, on and off- since 1973 and the only thing I can remember being different is the fact that they don't keep round of stilton on the Bar - Foood Hygiene and all that. Great Pub great beer, my tipple is the Young's which is always well kept. Keep up the good work for another 500 years at least!

The Spotted Dog, Barking

This is a fantastic Pub, and since the sad demise of the Brittania, easily the best in Barking. I've been a regular for over 38 years, I remember when the floor was covered in a thick layer of sawdust and they had a rather expensive restaurant - The Clink - downstairs. The beer is well kept as always and the staff are the best I have encountered anywhere in the UK, and I've travelled most of it. Also I noticed that they are using one of my publicity photos I commissioned for. Keep up the good work Russell!

Golden Lion, Romford

I've been using the GL for many years, why? you may ask. The staff are great, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Oh yes! and the beer is really well kept, never had a problem with a Naff pint; food is good too. Keep it up!
