The Blue Anchor, Reigate

I went to the blue anchor earlier this week and whilst quite in there found the place to be very comfortable and relaxed with a lovely young chap behind the bar. The day time telly aspect is a bug bear of mine and one of the reasons i avoid the bulls head, but as long as the garden is open at the BA i can always enjoy a good ale. Keep it up. ( but maybe not the day time rubbish)

The Red Cross Inn, Reigate

I'd like to say what a lovely change it was to walk into the red cross and find smiling helpful people behind the bar, AT LAST! I have avoided this place for nearly a year due to it's constant manager/staff changes, poor service and somewhat dubious customers. I only popped in for one quick drink whilst waiting for my bus but ended up staying and talking with the barman/manager This pub has recently been given a lick of paint and the whole atmosphere has changed mostly due to a higher level of management than has previously been thrown in. The only problem with this pub is the lack of food alothough the manager hopes to have it back up and running soon, best of luck to them.
