The Cock and Rabbit, Great Missenden

I have never read such complete toffee in all my life. Have been visiting this pub for years. The fact that the current owner who is also the chef has been here 23 years speaks volumes. The Calves Liver is the best I have tasted in a long time and the food is sourced from local markets and Smithfield, Billingsgate etc. Nice to have a place that is not your run of the mill wine bar style, strip lighting, magnolia or is it beige eyerywhere. This place has charecter and is obviously well lived in and used. If you haven't you must try it. Best food in the area by a long way and not boil in the bag either.

The Prince Albert, Bletchingley

What a fab pub. Took the whole family, my husband and two smallish children. My husband was very impressed with the beer and thats not easy to make him happy. Children had a great time and didn't seem like they were in the way. Food great good size portions for not stupid money. Will be back!
