The Dovetail, Clerkenwell
Awfully rude staff, awful food. This pub thinks it is trendy because it serves chips in a Hoegaarden glass... My friends and I were also told to be quiet, I have never been to a pub to enjoy a few beers and laughter only to be told to be quiet. It seems from the comments below that this is a commonly encountered problem. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ENJOY BEER AND BANTER, there are plenty of other pubs in London which sell a wide range of Belgian beers (which are actually available) and at the same time appreciate the value of merriment.
