The Cotham Porter Stores, Cotham

Walked past this pub a thousand times before plucking up the courage to go in (It's the 2 massive dogs that sit in the window I think). Had a pint with my mate and we had a great time. I put tie me kangaroo down on the juke box and the place was rocking. More of a cider pub but the beer was good too.

The Farriers Arms, St Albans

Everything you could possibly ask of a pub. I have drunk hundreds of gallons of country bitter in this pub down the years and never once had to send one back. Anyone who thinks being looked at when they enter a pub is a sign of hostility, needs to have a good hard think about themselves. The Farriers is as convivial a pub as you could ever wish for. The locals are only being curious when they look at a new face. Truly great pub.
