The Volunteer Riflemans Arms, Bath

Went back to Bath today shopping. Dropped into 'the Volley' for lunch. Decent food, not expensive. Got talking to locals and spent far too long/drank far too much before going back to the shops - so ended up spending far too much. I really do like this pub. Nice people, 'him indoors' says nice beer and very friendly people.

The Saracens Head, Bath

Agree with previous comments. Menu's mediocre, beer's mediocre, atmosphere's non existent and cleanliness is poor. Might be OK if you're a football fanatic - which I'm not.

The Coeur de Lion, Bath

Dropped into the Coeur when shopping on Saturday a little while ago. It was bustling so we couldn't find a seat. We left as soon as I saw the state of the toilets, which are 'primitive'.
