The Leather Bottle, Earlsfield

For all the effort to make this pub look neat and welcoming, the FOOD remains at the same poor standard as it always has been. I don't mind standard pub grub, but please don't wrap it up with a fancy bow and then empty my wallet for it. Must be that the extra � or 2 is going toward paying for the cost of the refurb, as it's certainly not going toward the quality of food.
I'll be using the beer garden with a belly filled somewhere else.

Food is pretty damn fine, however I suggest you get there early, the best dishes get rubbed off the chalk board quickly.
Changing the menu between lunch and dinner adds veriety within a day, but all to often I've been frustrated by lack of choice because they've run out.
It is a crying shame the don't change the bar staff as regularly as the menu. They couldn't be more disinterested in the customer if they tried to be.
