Ye Olde Mitre Inne, Barnet

Without a doubt this is the best boozer in High Barnet. It's got a fascinating history which you can see by looking around the building. Me and my missus get in there once every few weeks (we live about 4 miles away) and always have a great night. The beer is excellent and there's lots to choose from, the wine isn't overly expensive compared to many other pubs. Regardless of how busy it gets, you're always served quickly... and with a smile. The covered outdoor area has an open fire and the design and layout out here is first class. To top it off, every now and then the landlord will celebrate national occasions with gusto. Burns Night is a hoot as is Halloween. If you have never been, go. You'll find that it becomes one of your favourite London pubs. See you at the bar, Andrew and Sadie.
