The Queens Arms, Corton Denham

Old stone pub with srtiking modernised interior, good range of real ales & foreign bottled beers. Excellent food - try the custard tart dessert! Coped very well when busy on my bank holiday Sunday visit. Parking a bit tricky as the village lane is narrow.

The Red Shoot Inn, Linwood

Delighted to find this place still serving after 3p.m. on a winter Saturday bike ride when other places (fairly) nearby had closed at 2:30. Good cheerful service & a healthy mix of clientele as previously mentioned. And the house-brewed Tom's Tipple was on good (non-cloudy) form!

The St George and Dragon, Wargrave

Excellent Thames-side location. Didn't dine but liked the look of the menu so like the previous commentor I'll be back.
