The Railway, Stockport

Superb real ale pub, impossible to avoid going in if you've been shopping at the adjacent retail park. Good range of bottled beers and ciders. Only down side is they don't allow children. Pretty stupid when well behaved 12 year olds are often far morea greeable than 50 year old's.

The Globe Hotel, Glossop

Spinach and Chickpea curry wasn't made with fresh spinach, tasted and looked like Popeye style tinned. Also tasted a bit stale, rubbish. Home brewed beer bloody disgusting, foul taste, yuk. Overall the place is gruby, a bit smelly and well worth avoiding. Won't be visiting again.
