The Kings Arms, Sandy

I took an unplanned detour in to The Kings Arms in Sandy to be pleasantly welcomed by the relatively new Landlord and others who assist him in his new venture. The pub has a good day time menu but also a very flexible personable chef who was willing to alter the dish I chose. I took advantage of checking out the Xmas menu/ party nights and can feel a party coming on with my friends taking up the opportunity of using the onsite accommodation so we wouldn�t have to worry about who drives. The locals were very chatty and many had stories to tell but warmly welcomed a stranger. The pub has undergone I was told many management changes but the welcome I received from all will ensure I return with friends to share the atmosphere again. Good luck.
