The Ranelagh, Bounds Green

what a fantastic surprise, last year this was a grim boozer, now it's stunning inside and out. The beer garden is fantastic - there's a large wooden decked area loads of seating and outside gas heaters. The staff were brilliant, despite being really busy they were still smiling and happy to accomodate our demands.
The weekend we visited, there was a barbecue running which was perfect for a sunny day. Even though children are allowed outisde it wasn't overun with screaming kids! The atmosphere of the whole place is genuinely friendly and relaxed - not what I'd expected in this area. For a decent drink, food and nice surroundings this place is hard to beat.
