The Angel, Poole

Went to this pub for a Christening party with food and a few balloons provided - no separate area for us, but fair enough. Total bill was apparently �120 and the food was awful - the absolute cheapest processed meat, potato salad from a tub, and I think there was quiche, but I think they were from a joke shop as it tasted of rubber. Perhaps �20 max spent on ingredients. Absolutely no service on tables - we had to clear away empty glasses. Dogs walking in and out past our table. Our host told the landlady he wasn't happy, and her reaction was just to shrug her shoulders and go "ugh". The staff then sat down to a nice roast dinner while we nibbled at rubberised sandwiches with stale bread. They also charge standard prices for Fresh Coffee, but give you instant. Avoid!
