The Railway, Tulse Hill

The Railway is the best place to go in Tulse Hill. Admittedly I only visit on weekend afternoons or a couple of drinks after work, rather than Fri or Sat night. Ok so there can be some characters in there, but the fact that most people in there can show you how to play backgammon (they have a variety of games)means that they aren't the usual drunks and chav/fighters that hang out in the other local pubs. The staff are fab, we arranged to have a large group of people for the BBQ that they have in the summer and they gave us free strawberrys and champagne (yes, the real stuff)and made it a great afternoon. Also the pub quiz is the funniest thing, there is usually a pub vs quiz master discussion about who is right, but always in a friendly joking manner.
