Went here with some uni friends without realising what kind of place it was. If you like pretentious, poncy and expensive and the thought of going to real boozer makes you mess your ever-so-hip designer jeans then you will love it. If not, then head somewhere else.

The Wishing Well, Peckham

Lovely pub. Nice Victorian intererior, pool tables around the back, which is good if you want a game but because they are in a seperate room they are are not intrusive. Not much ale to be had but it is looked after well and it is always nice and cold. Good friendly pub. The tv screens are not blaringly loud as has been described, though it is usually on. There are several large wooden tables outside to chill on on a sunny day.
