The Florence, Herne Hill

I disagree with the anonymous guy/gal. Those two dogs are ridiculously well behaved and make up part of the welcoming atmo of the pub for me. I'm down to the Florence about twice a week and I've never seen them wipe themselves on anything. Normally they just curl up in a corner and go to sleep.

Powers Bar, Kilburn

I love this gaff. We went down to see a band on my birthday and ended up staying all night. Quite like the indie disco after the acts on Fridays. VERY glad they have a new bouncer now though. Definite improvement. The draft selection IS limited but they have a cracking choice when it comes to gins and malts.
