Pub nice and beer good, but food very disappointing. Is overpriced - had the Christmas Special pie in the bar. Was �8.50, but the portion was rediculously small, more like a child's portion. I bet they don't give Giles Coren that!

The Cross Keys, Covent Garden
Nice pub, with a good selection of london brewed ales. However as noted by others they serve the slops. They claim to be members of the Inkeepers Institute, surely they don't teach such habits.
