The Dog and Gun Inn, Oxenhope

In my opinion one of the best country pubs in a 20 mile radius. Excellent beer and delicious food (large portions). Landlord is a real character and adds that extra 10% to make it special (although has probably upset a few people with his banter over the years). Recent extension and refurb has been done in a sensitive way so as not to destroy the character of the original (smaller) pub. Highly recommended.

The Lord Rodney, Keighley

What a transformation - now opened for a few weeks after full rebuild/refurbishment. Huge amount of money spent and it shows - clever design and high quality fixtures make it stand out from all the other pubs in the area. Full range of Taylors beers plus great selection of foreign bottles add to the interest. Beer is a bit expensive but not ridiculously so given the target market. Had a meal on 3 separate occasions recently (lunchtime) and the food was excellent. Hope it does well.
