The Waggon and Horses, Surbiton

I often visit this pub for a drink and /or a meal as my local has gone downmarket and downhill. Beers are good, if you like Youngs or the guest ales, and food very good. Not cheap or large portions but consistently better than more expensive local restaurants. Local customers are friendly without being intrusive and the young staff are helpful and competent. Decor now good after the refurbishment and the management are obviously determined to build up trade in the drinking area and particularly the food area, which seems under discovered. I hope they are as successful as they deserve.
