The Exchequer, Crookham Village

A good gastro pub some years ago but seems to have lost the plot. Mainly east european staff were pleasant enough, but the food was mediocre with undercooked chips, a rather grey looking fillet steak and a dessert which had a definite taste of furniture polish about it. Decor is tired with dirty carpets and paint blobs on the back of some chairs. Couldn't recommend it.
