The Pheasant, Harlington

The Pheasant is a place that's trying to discover itself as a disco, while masked in pub clothing. The early evening is for locals to get together for a pint and a laugh. Perhaps a match on tv. good atmosphere and welcoming!! However, after 9:00pm the DJ fires up and The Pheasant becomes a disco, which appeared to me to drive away all the locals that know a thing or two of pubs and in came the 18 - 25 year olds! (Along with the tuxedo henchmen as the muscle!)

Tpugh to rate, but I gave it a 7 for both sides of the mask!

The Wheatsheaf, Harlington

I flew into Heathrow for a weekend of plane spotting & pub crawling! The plane spotting and The Wheatsheaf did not disappoint! The service was friendly and considerate in everything English! Each pint was poured with it's own brewey glass, a qaulity that sets the best from the rest, expecially for people like me that make an effort to visit and enjoy the pub atmosphere. If you are staying on Bath Road at one of the hotels, please take a moment and enjoy this pub!!
