Exactly what a pub should be - Open fire, Lovely dinning area and a great menu which looks to offer new line-up every day ! - The steak was wonderful. We enjoyed a quick, friendly service and enjoyed the plesent atmosphere, in fact we relaxed in this warm location for much longer than we'd planned .... The chef even catered for my daughter gluten free diet - how good is that ?

See if you can find the secret door, which is easier if you have a love of books.

Obviously, it seems a large improvement from the reviews in previous years...
