The Travellers Inn, Hipperholme

With regards to a previous post by user beerilike, I have to take issue with the comments made. I believe you to be the same petty person that sent an anonymous email to the brewery saying the same things. I will not comment on the two daughters as whatever happened is nothing to do with any of us patrons. I do however take issue with your comment of 'drunken landlady'. This is totally untrue and I suggest you take your comment off. I am a regular (almost daily) user of this pub and in the 7 years of knowing the landlady, I can honestly say she was not a drunk. More often than not she would be drinking coffee behind the bar and if ever she did have a drink (and possibly get drunk) was if she had a drink on her day off (which she is entitled to do as we all are). Even then she did not do this every week. It was a very rare event. I am sorry for the lengthy comment but I will not see someone slandered on a public forum when it is not deserved, even more so when done so by a coward who hides behind a username.
