Great pub on a Friday afternoon if you fancy seeing off 20 fags with a couple of strong continental lagers and a game of billiards. Almost had a fight here during France Vs Croatia WC '98. Food is standard but cheap, Monday to Thursday is the "3 meals for two quid" promotion.

When I visited last summer, someone had attacked the full sized cork effegy of Robin Hood with a purple felt tip. Said vandal must be partially illiterate as "West Ham is a poof" does not make grammatical sense. The bar staff were efficient and turned a blind eye when Wellsy was sick in the juke box. Would defo return... If only to retrieve the shoe I left in the far urinal.

Mr Bean is obviously a salad.

Awful pub with worse food and horrible decor.

They tried a re-furb' back in the autumn of '99 but at the end of the day, you cant polish a turd.
