The Brewery Tap, Peterborough

One of my go to pubs when I'm in Peterborough. Huge venue set over two floors operated by Oakham Ales. During the day the customer base tends to be those seeking a lunchtime pint during their work break, with a younger but well behaved crowd venturing in for the evening entertainment at weekends. Thai food is the offering here which I personally don't like however, that's not a reflection on the food itself. All I can say is it looks amazing when I've seen it being served. A full range of Oakham Ales are available, along with a couple of other ales, and although constantly busy, the staff always have a smile on their face and a friendly attitude.

Royal Oak, Weymouth

Visited with my girlfriend who lives locally to the pub. Monday night so very few people in, but a friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar. Had a brief chat with another customer and his friendly dog, which as someone not local to the area was nice as it made me feel welcome. Beers were Sharps Doombar and Sharps Atlantic. I personally don't like Doombar so went for the Atlantic. Not too bad condition, and I would imagine with more customers on a busier night with the beer flowing through the lines it would be a nice pint. Internally the pub is clean and has a nice feel about it, and a reasonable outdoor area for smoking is available, I will be visiting again as previously mentioned, it's local to my girlfreind
