The Six Bells, Fulbourn

Last week I spent a day in Cambridge with Mr Dibbs, our retired greyhound, while my wife was working at OCR. By lunchtime I had had enough of wandering around the spires of academe, and as it was a warm day, a pint seemed just the thing. Coming from Nottingham, I have put all Greene King pubs on the blacklist which rather limted my options - they took over a perfectly good brewery, Hardys & Hansons of Kimberley, and closed it down. The next problem was finding a pub that allowed Mr Dibbs to come in and shelter from the heat of the midday sun. The only option was to get in the car and find one - step forward The Six Bells at Fulbourn, near Cambridge. If only more pubs were more welcoming to dogs....
