What could be better than a pub lunch on a lovely sunny day. Sadly we chose the Lord Nelson..
I ordered a crab sandwich. Bread was a quarter of an inch thick one end and probably almost two inches thick the other which made it tricky to eat. I had to really (truly) look carefully to see any trace of crab too!
My friend ordered mussels and a large bowl duly arrived but the mussels were overcooked, chewy and unpleasant.
As I was driving I ordered a pint of lemonade and was shocked to find it was 3! That's ridiculous. I would recommend that you don't eat here, I won't be coming back.
