The Old Cannon Brewery, Bury St Edmunds

This is one of my all time favourite pubs. Beer (their own or guest) always good and the food is excellent. Can get very busy on a Friday/Saturday night but service is always quick and efficient.

The Gardeners Arms, Tostock

used to be really good but has gone downhill badly recently. Food has got too expensive and it's rare that I leave a place after one pint because the beer is so bad..... Real shame as it has fantastic setting and family friendly garden

The Artillery Arms, Old Street

Excellent, found "by accident" one sunny Friday lunchtime after a business meeting. Could have stayed all day!!
