The Moon Under Water, Colindale

I've been in on a Sunday here and contrary to the previous post I have always found the staff to be pleasant and hard working. Granted sometimes there is a wait with the food, but in fairness when there is nearly every table taken up with large groups I expect to wait longer than 10 minutes. IThey've just added pigs in blankets as standard to their roasts, which is excellent. Great value and very much a family friendly place to eat.

Erin's Hope, Colindale

Not a nice place really. I've been in once about 8 months ago and it was expensive, full of cigarette smoke and you always felt liked you're being stared at... Most uncomfortable! The biggest issues with this place is the insane volume they insist on playing music at after midnight and the irresponsible serving of youngsters. You'd think it was a club. I've witnessed kids who are already hammered go into the place and get served until 3am. They then leave singing, shouting and causing public disturbance. Not very responsible of the pub owners to keep serving and a complete disregard for the people that live round here. If you're looking for somewhere clean, inexpensive and family friendly try some of the other pubs in the area.
