The Fire Station, Waterloo
I returned to the Fire Station for the first time in a few months recently. I've been visiting occasionally for several years for an after-work pint. That will be my last visit - the Pitcher & Piano-style refurb has utterly destroyed any atmosphere the cavernous place used to have and the real ales seem to have all gone, bar a truly terrible pint of London Pride.
