Me and a friend went one monday night for the Quiz, and found a welcoming atmosphere with the locals being very friendly and the staff always checking we were ok. At end of evening, was asked by landlord if everything was to our liking and he hoped we'd had a good evening. Very personal welcome and top pub in my books!
