The Lamb Inn, West Wittering
Visited on Saturday 16th July 2005 with 2 friends. We were happy with our starter BUT the chef cannot cook duck. I asked not to have the potatoes Dauphinoise as I am allergic to cheese. They brought me potato Dauphinoise! Sent it back for chips. Pathetic anemic specimens. The duck could not be cut with anything less than a steak knife.It was the toughest I have ever been served. They never apologised and the Landlord's 'partner' argued with us, the customer. All he said was ' We will cancel your bill and we want you to leave' Needless to say we left and will not be back
