6.1.08 Best value food around and good quality for the price. Ham, eggs and chips �4.25. I go there late afternoon after work sometimes with a couple of workmates, always friendly. Don't have the peas, the're like bullets and the service is a bit slow but it is worth waiting for if you want a cheap decent meal. Daily reduced price specials.
Richard the landlord is very pleasant but he's always working hard in the kitchen so you don't often see him.
I invented a new film tranfer system whilst having a drink at this pub a few years ago which has given me a very nice lifestyle thank you. Never been there in the evening.
